They said that they are just waiting to battle Activision and infinity ward (who made the marvelous masterpieces Call of duty: Modern warfare, modern warfare 2...) in the ultimate throwdown of war games, Battlefield 3 vs the game that hasn't even been announced yet.
Now, think.
Battlefield 3 is coming in NINE months.
the game that hasn't even been announced is coming in NOVEMBER.
IN SIX MONTHS. NOT EVEN.
THATS A THREE MONTH DIFFERENCE.
FOR A GAME THAT WE DON'T EVEN KNOW THE TITLE OF.
Now, you may ask, "Hey, How would you know this?!" Simple little math my friend.
EVERY SINGLE CALL OF DUTY FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS CAME OUT November 9-10.
Now, think about that.
Sure, Battlefield 3 will probably be better. (Not really, Treyarch's might fail, but Infinity ward will take the cake. Oh, and Treyarch was the one working on black ops. MW1 & 2 was infinity wards.) But Call of duty Mw3 or whatever, will come out sooner, and will have a record amount of sales.
Battlefield 3 may be better in every way, but it doesn't matter, its like the tortoise and the hare all over again, You may be iron man, but Call of duty got there first.
EA has just been waiting to spew trash in Call of duty's face for quite some time now, its like this.
While infinity ward on the other hand has just been taking it slow, thinking of stuff for the game.
I think infinity ward will win.
